Welding shop
Welding is one of the basic processes carried out in our company . We have a
certified welding quality
system according to EN 3834-2 and EN ISO 9001 for this activity . We also
manufacture constructions for the
building industry according to EN 1090 (in the classes from EXC1 to EXC4),
DIN 18800-7 and for the railway
industry , meeting the requirements of the EN 15085 standard.
The steel structure manufacturing plant of the Surowiec company ensures high
quality of its structures thanks
to:
- welding supervision, holding the IWE/EWE/IWT/EWT/ IWI-C/ SAP licences
acc. to EN 15085
- qualified welders with welding certificates acc. to EN 287-1
- personnel for testing and inspection constant ly cooperating with the
laboratory; this enables them to carry out
NDT testes with the use of VT, PT, MT, UT and RT methods
- qualifications in welding technology acc. to EN 15614
We manufacture structures made of:
- structural steels from S235 to S355
- higher strength steels such as S690QL, S700, S960QL
The main welding methods applied are:
• MAG 135 in gas mixture protection (82% Ar, 18% CO2)
• MIG 131
• 111 coated electrode arc welding (EN-287-1)
• TIG 141
• 311 gas welding
